Nothing OS 2.5.5a not only brings ChatGPT to Nothing Phone (2a) but a lot more

Nothing always makes noise when it launches any new device. Its products are always so quirky and cool. But this time, it is making noise for integrating ChatGPI into its devices. You must be aware of how Nothing rolled out ChatGPT on the Nothing Phone (2), then on Nothing Phone (1) and now finally the Nothing OS 2.5.5a update is here which brings the AI chatbot to the Nothing Phone (2a) as well. But, that’s not all that this update offers. Read along to know about everything that you get with Nothing OS 2.5.5a.

Nothing Phone (2a) ChatGPT integration

Let’s talk about the ChatGPT integration first. You will get to see multiple ChatGPT widgets on the home screen. There’s also a new button on the screenshot and clipboard popup that directly allows you to directly paste stuff into a ChatGPT conversation. Inside the Nothing X app, you will see a new gesture option which will allow you to start a conversation with the chatbot. You can use this via Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a).

In addition to this, this update also allows for optimised colour consistency on the camera. You can do this by adjusting the white balance and colour bias at lower temperatures. Further, it also offers enhanced portrait brightness in HDR scenes by matching specific user skin tones. The overall app performance has also been improved and the many complaints about abnormal noise issues in portrait mode have been resolved.

Apart from that, you now get a better visual display of battery levels in the Battery widget. The power-saving mode has also been improved “to ensure vibrations for calls and notifications remain active”. There’s also an AI-powered algorithm for smarter auto-brightness adjustments, increased smoothness when swiping down to expand Quick Settings and improved fluidity when unlocking.
