Nokia Lumia 910 with 12MP camera rumour squashed
Recent rumours about a 12MP Nokia Lumia 910 have been squashed by Nokia’s Damian Dinning, the head of the company’s Imaging Experience division, who replied to a fan inquisitive about the new device, informing him that it doesn’t exist.
The Nokia Lumia 900, destined for AT&T, doesn’t yet have a firm release date or any pricing details. Its camera, with a Carl Zeiss lens, will come with an 8.7MP sensor, the same as the current flagship, the Lumia 800, and the MeeGo-based Nokia N9.
The rumours about the 12MP Nokia Lumia 210 centred around a report by Eldar Murtazin, a mobile blogger who has in the past made some interesting observations. A non-LTE, global version of the Lumia 900 is still expected, and may just be unveiled at MWC.
The industry is still rife with rumours about what else Nokia will unveil at MWC, now that the 12MP Lumia 910 is not on the cards.
