Nokia 6 is the first Android smartphone from HMD Global under the new licensing arrangement

Nokia 6 reportedly sold out in just a minute after it went on sale. The first Android smartphone from HMD Global under the Nokia brand was revealed just a few days ago.

Nokia 6 was announced exclusively for China and was made available from online retailer JD.com. The smartphone had received over 1 million registrations ahead of first flash sale today. It is not clear how many units were available for sale but Nokia 6 is certainly liked by consumers.

The Nokia 6 is a mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon 430 processor and 5.5-inch full HD display. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It sports a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. In addition, the Nokia 6 houses a 3000mAh battery and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone is priced at 1,699 Yuan (approximately Rs 17,000) and is available in black colour variant.

Recently, a silver colour variant of the device was spotted on TENAA's certification site. HMD Global is expected to announce a flagship Android smartphone and budget D1C at Mobile World Congress next month.
