New image of LG Optimus G2 leaks; Optimus L9 II rumours surface
LG is working on refreshes for its two phones - the Optimus G flagship and the Optimus L9.
Though LG has already confirmed it is going to release Optimus G2 later this year, it has remained tight-lipped about the details of the new smartphone. While we await the official information on specs, an alleged image of the Optimus G2 has surfaced on the web.
The new leaked image looks same the image leaked by evleaks a month ago. The photo shows an early software that has some issue with an error screen asking beta users to send an-email report to G2-SW-Stability@lgm.com. The pic, however, does not establish the previous rumours regarding the smartphone specs – 5-inch 1080p screen with Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and 3200mAh battery.
It is believed the Optimus G2 would serve as the basis of the Nexus 5, similar to the original Optimus G did for the Nexus 4. Though LG denies plans of launching Nexus 5, reports suggest the phone is already in the works.
Besides the Optimus G2, reports suggest the company is readying an Optimus L9 II smartphone. An alleged image of the L9 II has also surfaced on the web. The image features a smartphone bearing the ‘L9 II” label.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 4.7-inch 720p display, Android 4.1.2 and napdragon 400 chipset with two Krait 200 cores running at 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. The Optimus L9 II is expected to be officially announced next month.
