Meizu teases its dual-screened Pro 7 smartphone, will be unveiled on July 26

The Meizu Pro 7 smartphone is confirmed to be unveiled on July 26, and the company has now released a teaser image for the phone. The teaser highlights the most unique feature that the device is tipped to come with, the secondary screen at the back. Unlike the efforts of the YotaPhone, which put an e-ink display at the back, the Meizu device is expected to be a colour display. This display is tipped to be located just below the camera and may be used to take selfies with the rear camera.

Besides this, images of the device were leaked by Android Pure and matches up to other leaks in the past. At the front, the device looks quite ordinary with a single home button located below the display. However, it is the rear panel that is most interesting. The device is expected to features a dual-rear camera with the secondary display. And this entire setup is located towards one side of the device. The phone also seems to feature a brushed aluminium design. 

Reports suggest that the phone may features a 5.2-inch primary display with a Full HD resolution and may be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 SoC chipset. The top end variant of the device is tipped with offer 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage. At the back, the device is tipped to use two 12MP Sony sensors, while at the front, it might have a 16MP front camera. There may also be a Meizu Pro 7 Plus, that is tipped to offer the same set of specifications, but a larger 5.5-inch display. Prices for the Meizu Pro 7 may start around CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs 26,600) and may go up to CNY 3,799 (approx. Rs 36,200)for the top of the line Meizu Pro 7 Plus.
