LG G6, the 2017 flagship smartphone from the Korean electronics giant is now available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India. The smartphone was launched in India just yesterday and brings with it a bunch of bundles offers. The handset is priced at Rs 51,999 and the e-commerce giant is offering early access deals to Prime members. LG G6 is priced cheaper than the Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Amazon India is offering Rs 10,000 cashback for HDFC and SBI Credit Card holders. The cashback offer is valid only for today.
LG is also offering 50 percent discount on LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headset and has tied up with Reliance Jio to offer 100GB additional data until March 2018. The South Korean company is also offering other benefits like free purchase of apps and games from Play Store worth Rs 14,100, including access to Cookie-Jam, Spider-Man Unlimited and Temple Run 2. The LG G6 is available in Ice Platinum and Astro Black colour variants.
To recall, LG G6 was first announced at Mobile World Congress in February. With the G6, LG is ditching the modular design first seen on the G5 and instead, has tried to get the basics right. The handset, like the Samsung's Galaxy S8, features thin bezels with a new 5.7-inch Quad HD+ Full Vision display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage.
Like the G5 and V20 before it, the new G6 also offers a dual-rear camera setup with one normal lens and another wide-angle lens. Both the rear sensors are of 13-megapixel in resolution with wide-angle lens supporting upto 125 degree field of view. The primary camera features f/1.8 aperture and supports OIS and phase detection autofocus. There is also a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, 100 degree field of view and support for 1080p video recording.
The LG G6 runs Android 7.0 Nougat based on LG UX 6.0 and supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10. The smartphone sports a rear fingerprint sensor and offers IP68 water and dust resistance. The handset offers Quad DAC for the audio experience and is backed by a 3300mAh battery. Read our first impressions of the LG G6 here.
