LG G3 smartphone to feature a 3000mAh removable battery
Latest leaked images of the LG G3 reveal a removable back panel with a brushed metal finish, a removable battery, and a microSD card slot.
LG’s next flagship smartphone, the LG G3 will come with a 5.5″ Quad HD display, a microSD slot for storage expansion and a swappable 3000 mAh battery. Leaked images by @evleaks reveal a close up shot of the rear-camera setup with a dual-LED flash and a mysterious laser sensor surrounding it.
The latest pics also reveal a removable 3000mAh battery similar to its predecessor the LG G2. However it would be interesting to see if the G3 will manage to outshine its predecessor which also had the same battery, even though the G3 comes with a Quad HD display. Additionally, the images reveal that the G3’s pop-off back panel will have a brushed metal finish.
LG has already confirmed that its next flagship smartphone will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD (QHD) AH-IPS LCD panel, certified by Norway-based international testing and certification organization for electrical products, NEMKO. The electronics giant announced that the panel “will be unveiled with the forthcoming LG’s flagship smartphone to be launched in the first half of the year”.
So far, it has been revealed that LG G3 will come with a Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It will be available in 16GB and 32GB storage variants with both including a microSD expandable memory slot. It will feature a 13 MP OIS rear camera with laser autofocus assist as well as a secondary front camera. The G3 is expected to run on Android 4.4 KitKat, with a minimalistic, revamped interface.
