LeEco will sell first 300 Le 2 smartphones for Re 1

The LeEco Le 2 smartphone was launched at a price of Rs. 11,999, but some lucky buyers stand a chance to purchase the device at Re.1. According to the device’s listing on the LeEco’s newly unveiled e-commerce platform, LeMall.com, the first 300 units of the device will be priced at Re. 1. The company notes that this offer is valid on a first come first serve basis. Registrations for the device start from June 15 at 12:00 pm. It is not yet known if the same offer will be available on Flipkart.

The LeEco Le 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a 1.8Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, with 3GB of RAM. The device sports a 16MP primary camera with phase-detection autofocus and dual-tone flash, while at the front is an 8MP camera. It offers 32GB of non-expandable storage and runs Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 with EUI 5.6 layered over it. The LeEco Le 2 is also equipped with a 3000mAh battery, with support for Quick CHarge 2.0. Another thing to note is that the phone doesn’t come with a 3.5mm audio jack and uses the USB Type-C port instead. However, those who purchase the device will get a cable that is a Type-C port to 3.5mm, so that people can continue using their headphones.
