Jio Phone Next could go on pre-orders starting next week, as per the latest report. The Jio Phone Next was unveiled back in June by Reliance Jio in collaboration with Google. The Jio Phone Next is said to be an affordable smartphone that is set to help existing 2G customers in India to 4G networks. India is still home to over 350 million feature phone users and the Jio Phone Next has been developed as an affordable phone that will bring 4G connectivity to those users for the first time.
According to an exclusive report by 91Mobiles that cites retail sources, the Jio Phone Next will be up for pre-bookings starting next week. The phone will go on sale on September 10, as earlier revealed by Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries during the 44th Annual General Meeting held earlier this year.
The key specifications of the Jio Phone Next have been kept under wraps for now and even the pricing has not been revealed yet. It is expected that Jio will announce the pricing of the Jio Phone Next when the pre-booking commences or on September 10 when it is slated to be available to buy.

Jio Phone Next leaked specs and pricing
The design of the Jio Phone Next was revealed during the AGM event and we get a pretty basic setup in terms of specifications and features.
As per tipster Yogesh Brar, the Jio Phone Next features a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor. The phone is expected to be available with 2GB and 3GB RAM along with 16GB and 32GB storage options to choose from.
The Jio Phone Next will run on a specially customised version of the Android 11 (Go Edition) out-of-the-box and will come pre-loaded with Facebook apps, WhatsApp and more. There is expected to be a 13MP camera on the back and an 8MP selfie camera up front. The Jio Phone Next has a 2,500mAh battery and has dual SIMs supporting 4G VoLTE.
The Jio Phone Next is expected to be priced at Rs 3,499 in India. More details about the phone are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
