HTC has announced another variant of the One M9 called the M9s in Taiwan. The phone comes with a 5-inch Full HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection just like the original One M9 and the two phones look more-or-less identical too. However, the hardware of the two phones are very different. The HTC One M9s comes with a MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.1GHz and 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of onboard storage and runs HTC Sense UI 7 layered over Android Lollipop v5.1. It has a 13MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation and also comes with a 4MP UltraPixel camera. The original One M9 came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM. it also came with 32GB of onboard storage and has a 20MP rear camera. However, the rear camera does not have optical image stabilisation. The HTC One M9s is priced at TWD 12,900 which is approximately Rs. 26,000.

There are also other variants of the HTC One M9 namely the One M9+, and the One M9+ Supreme Camera. The One M9+ comes with a 5.2-inch QHD screen and is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 SoC with 3GB RAM. The phone has a dual-camera setup at the back with 20MP and 2.1MP cameras. At the front there is a 4MP UltraPixel camera. The HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera (also known as the Aurora Edition) is pretty much the same as M9+ except for an improved camera. The phone has a 21MP camera with optical image stabilisation along with phase detection and laser-assisted autofocus.

HTC also announced the HTC One A9 last month. The phone is the first non-Nexus device to launch with Android Marshmallow already installed. The device has a metal unibody with a 5-inch AMOLED FHD display. It has a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation and a 4MP UltraPixel front camera. The phone comes with a 2150mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. The One A9 does not feature HTC’s front facing BoomSound speaker. These speakers are there on all of the HTC One M9 variants.
