Huawei’s Honor brand has launched its V8 smartphone in China. The phone sports a 5.7-inch display and is powered by a octa-core Kirin 950 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The device is available in two variants, one with a QHD display and 64GB of RAM, while the other has a FHD display and 32GB of storage. Both variants of the Honor V8 come with a 12MP dual rear camera setup similar to what is offered in the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, but without the Leica branding. The phone also features laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, and f/2.2 aperture lens for both cameras. 

At the front of the Honor V8 is an 8MP camera with a f/2.4 aperture lens. The phone is also equipped with a 3500mAh battery and runs Android Marshmallow v6.0 with EMUI 4.1 layered over it. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner that is located at the back of the device. The variant with QHD display and 64GB storage is priced at CNY 2,799(approx. Rs. 28,700), while the FHD display and 32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs. 25,600). 

Last month, Honor launched the 5C in China. The phone is priced at CNY 899 (approx. Rs. 9,200) and comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 650 SoC with 2GB RAM and a Mali-T830 GPU. The device offers 13MP and 8MP cameras along with 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB.
