Huawei's sub-brand Honor is all set to launch the Honor 10 Lite smartphone on January 15 in India. The company has sent out invites to the media and Flipkart has also listed the smartphone on a microsite. The smartphone has already been launched in China and will come with a dewdrop notch. This will be the first smartphone from the company in India that will ditch the regular notch to get 91 percent screen-to-body ratio.
A successor to Honor 9 Lite, the Honor 10 Lite will feature an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered camera. The smartphone was launched in three variants in China, but the Flipkart listing suggests that the company will only bring the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Honor 10 Lite to India. The phone was unveiled in four colour options: Red, Blue, Black and White, but on Flipkart, only three colours are seen, including a Gradient colour which is only available in Sky Blue colour.
Honor 10 Lite Specifications
The Honor 10 Lite features a 6.21-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels offering 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device has HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset. According to the company, the Kirin 710 offers improvement in power consumption and performance when compared to the 16nm Kirin 659. The Kirin 710’s single-core performance is claimed to be 75 percent higher than that of the Kirin 659. It scored 131733 points on AnTuTu.
The smartphone sports a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. In the camera department, the device gets a dual-camera setup on the back with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. There is a 24MP front shooter for selfies with AI capabilities. The device comes with GPU Turbo which is said to boost graphics performance and efficiency by up to 60 percent. The package is powered by a 3,400mAh battery.
