E-commerce giant Flipkart is having a sale on electronics items, and there are some deals you wouldn't want to miss.
You’ve probably already heard or read about Flipkart’s big electronics sale today. The homegrown e-commerce giant has announced big discounts on smartphones, appliances etc. for today and tomorrow (25 and 26 May). While you may not like all of these deals, here are some good ones that we spotted.
The best deals are perhaps on the Motorola products. The company has slashed Rs. 8,000 off the price of the Moto X (2nd Gen), both 32GB and 16GB variants. However, the 32GB variant is only available in Royal Blue colour, while the Black version is still at the original price point. Further, Motorola has also offered exchange offers of up to Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 5,000 on the Moto E (2nd Gen) and Moto G (2nd Gen) respectively. The Moto Turbo on the other hand, is available on exchange offers of up to Rs. 10,000. An LG Nexus 4 will get you a discount of Rs. 5,000 on the Moto Turbo right now. Meanwhile, the Motorola made Nexus 6 is available at a discounted price of Rs. 36,999.
Another great deal is on Samsung’s erstwhile flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone. The price of this phone has been slashed to less than half its original price. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is available on Flipkart for Rs. 22,999. In addition, the Galaxy S3 Neo is available for Rs. 10,999, down from its earlier discounted pricing of Rs. 12,999.
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is also part of the sale, offering exchange offers of up to Rs. 3,000, Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 9,000 on the Xiaomi Redmi 2, Mi4 and Redmi Note 4G smartphones, while the Xiaomi Mi4i is available on open sale. Incidentally, fellow Chinese manufacturer, Huawei, is offering both discounts and exchange offers on its devices. Huawei’s Honor brand has slashed Rs. 2,000 off on the Honor 6 Plus smartphone and is further offering up to Rs. 10,000 off for exchanging your old smartphone.
There’s also a little something for Windows Phone lovers. One of Microsoft’s newest Windows-based devices, the Lumia 640, is available for Rs. 8,999 on Flipkart’s sale. There are also some discounts on Apple’s iPhones. The 64GB iPhone 6 Plus is selling for Rs. 62,999, while the 16GB variant of the iPhone 5S is available for around Rs. 35,000.
The iPhone deals though don’t seem to make much sense, since there are various better deals available online. Flipkart also has deals on the Honor Bee smartphone and phones like the Asus Zenfone 2 and Lenovo A6000 Plus have been put up for sale today. The Android One-based Spice Dream Uno smartphone is available for Rs. 4,999 right now. All of these offers are applicable only till stocks last, so you should hurry.
