‘World’s lightest phone’ Elari NanoPhone C launched in India at Rs 3,490
HIGHLIGHTS

The feature phone is available on Yerha.com and is 94.4 x 35.8 x 7.6 mm in size and weighs 30gms

We live in an age where big screen smartphones rule the roost. 5.5-inch inch devices are pretty common now and most of us don’t mind having a phone with an even bigger display. But what if you wanted a tiny phone, and we mean really tiny? Well, it’s your lucky day as the Elari NanoPhone C is now available in India via Yerha.com. Compared to this, the tiny Apple iPhone SE will also seem huge. The phone is also touted as the lightest phone in the world and is listed as weighing 30gms.

The Elari NanoPhone C is a feature phone and is 94.4 x 35.8 x 7.6 mm in size. The phone is aimed to be a companion to your smartphone and can pair with any Android or iOS device via Bluetooth, letting users make and receive calls. Users can also copy up to 1000 contacts to the NanoPhone C and use it as a standalone device.

The NanoPhone C is a feature phone, so the specifications aren’t going to match up to a smartphone anyday. The device sports a 1-inch TFT display with a resolution of 128×96 and is powered by a MediaTek MT6261D processor. You get 32MB of RAM along with 32MB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded by 32GB. The 480mAh battery is claimed to offer up to four hours of talk time. The phone is available on Yehra.com for Rs 3,490.

At that price, the Elari NanoPhone C goes up against another feature phone, the new Nokia 3310. While the Nokia phone may not be as small and light as the NanoPhone C, it offers better specifications (for a feature phone) and of course, nostalgia. You can read our review of the Nokia 3310 here.
