Karbonn’s new smartphone A29 is now available through online retailer Saholic for Rs. 8,990 . The online retailer is offering a 14 percent on the MRP Rs. 10,490. The smartphone hasn’t yet been listed on other retailers such as Flipkart and Infibeam.
The Karbonn A29 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM (GSM GSM) functionality. It sports a 4.7-inch IPS display with 960 × 540 pixels resolution.
There’s an 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera. The smartphone has 4GB built-in storage and supports microSD slot for additional storage up to 64GB. There’s no information available on RAM yet.
For connectivity, the Karbonn A29 supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with EDR and A2DP, and GPS. There’s a 2000 mAh battery.
Karbonn’s new phone comes shortly after the company introduced Smart A27 , featuring dual-core processor and Android Jelly Bean OS. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the smartphone features dual-SIM, 5.0-inch display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage expandable via microSD card slot (up to 32 GB), an 8.0MP rear camera as well as a VGA front facing camera for video calling.
