Google's Chrome Team announces Chrome 37 for Android with Material Design makeover.

The Chrome team at Google has announced the launch of Chrome v37 for Android that brings a Material design makeover, automatic sign in into Google related sites as well as other enhancements and the usual bug fixes. Google says that the Chrome for Android update is being rolled out in stages and it should be available to all Android users over the next few days.

Chrome Beta 37 update is now rolling out on Google Play and brings a new simplified login which allows users to login to all Google sites with the Chrome login. The updated version of Chrome brings new Material design elements to the browser including a more minimal Moonshine icon. The update also brings a new revamped looks to Chrome’s incognito tabs and the usual bug fixes and performance improvements have also been addressed.

Google had announced the new Material Design at Google I/O developer conference back in June. The Material Design introduces a new design aesthetic that will roll out to most of Google’s apps and services. Earlier in July, Google had launched the new material design update for Google Play for Android. The update brings a new image-rich listing page and details like rating overviews and genres have been moved into easy-to-read icons in the update. The new update made the Google+ section more prominent and a “What’s New” section has also been added. Google has already updated its Google Docs, Sheets and Slides services on the web with Material Design.
