Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT) Red Special Editions start at Rs. 70,000 and will be available from April 14
Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT) Red Special Editions smartphones are now available for preorder on Amazon India. The smartphones were first announced as part of Apple's partnership with (RED) on March 21 globally. Amazon India listing reveals that these handsets featuring red aluminium finish will be available on April 14.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Red Special Edition launch marks Apple's 10 year partnership with (RED). The part of the proceeds of this sale will go to (RED) and Apple says this initiative will highlight the AIDS fundraising campaign. "The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can't wait to get it into customers' hands," Apple CEO Tim Cook had said during the release.
The iPhone 7 (PRODUCT) Red is priced at Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 for the 128GB and 256GB storage variant respectively. The iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT) Red is only available in 128GB storage option and is priced at Rs 82,000. Apple had introduced iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in matte black and jet black colour option last year in addition to standard silver, gold and rose gold finishes. Amazon India is offering discount up to Rs 10,050 on exchange and an extra Rs 4,000 off with exchange of an older iPhone.
