The predecessor to the Galaxy S4 is already on everyone's radar, this time the latest rumours point to its body and some specs. According to EMSOne, a Japanese based website, ODM Catcher Technology (Taiwan), BYD (China) and Ju Teng (Taiwan) have been handed over a task to manufacture between 10 and 30 million unibody metal case for Samsung's next Galaxy device, which is likely to be the Galaxy S5.

There are also reports that Samsung will produce the Galaxy S5 in two designs - one will have plastic and the other one to have the aforementioned metal shell. Earlier leaks pointed to a full metal frame.

A metal body would remove any doubts about mediocre build quality and durability, which has been one of the major drawbacks with Samsung smartphones. An aluminium chasis implies that the next Galaxy device would be slightly heavier but at the same time more resistant.

Meanwhile, a device that goes by the name SM-G900S has popped up on GFX Bench running on a Snapdragon 800 chipset and the Adreno 330 GPU. The highly clocked chipset at 2.46Ghz, isn't the Snapdragon 805 with Adren0 420 GPU nor the 64-bit Exynos chip everyone hoped to see.

And that's not it, the SM-G900S is rumoured to boast off a screen resolution of 2560x1440 or 2K. Somehow, if rumours of a 5 or a 5.2 inch screen turn out to be true we may be on our way to an insane density of over 560 pixels per inch. Going by the results, the rumoured device rounded up 27.7 fps on the T-Rex 1080p offscreen test, on which the Galaxy Note 3 was the best with 26 frames per second.

Earlier reports also indicated that the Galaxy S5 could see a launch as early as Q1 of the next year, having a 16 MP rear snapper with the ISOCELL Tech.
