Acer’s new gaming monitor comes with 1,000Hz refresh rate
Acer’s Predator XB273U F6 gaming monitor is easily the most eye-catching announcement from the brand this time. At its native setting, the 27-inch monitor runs at a stunning 500 Hz refresh rate, already placing it at the very top of the esports monitor category. But the real magic lies in Acer’s Dynamic Frequency and Resolution mode. By dropping the resolution to 1280 x 720, competitive players can push the refresh rate all the way to 1000 Hz. This makes it a dream come true for esports players who chase every possible competitive edge.
Despite the focus on speed, Acer has not treated image quality as an afterthought. The panel itself is a 2560 x 1440 QHD IPS display that comes factory calibrated, promising to cover 95 percent of the DCI-P3 colour space and 99 percent of sRGB. Further, a 2,000:1 native contrast ratio and 350 nits of brightness promise strong image depth and consistency across wide viewing angles, with minimal colour shift.
In terms of connectivity, the monitor includes dual HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, audio out, and built-in speakers, while the fully adjustable stand supports tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment.
Alongside this, Acer also introduced the Predator X34 F3 with a curved QD-OLED panel and high refresh rates, and the Nitro XV270X P, which blends a sharp 5K resolution with esports-grade performance. For creators, the ProDesigner PE320QX brings a 6K panel with wide colour coverage and professional connectivity options.
Beyond monitors, Acer also showcased the Vero HL1820 RGB laser projector, which targets both home cinema users and gamers with 4K visuals, high refresh rate support at 1080p, and
New Predator and Nitro gaming laptops launched
Acer also announced several new laptops at CES 2026. The new Predator and Nitro gaming lineup is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI sits at the top of the lineup, combining a slim metal chassis with an OLED display and high-end cooling aimed at gamers who also care about portability. On the other hand, the Nitro V 16 AI and Nitro V 16S AI target more value-conscious gamers, offering capable hardware in slimmer and more affordable designs.
Acer is also expanding its gaming ecosystem with new accessories. The Predator Galea 570 gaming headset focuses on multi-mode connectivity and noise cancellation, while the Predator Cestus 530 mouse targets competitive players with a high-end sensor and fast polling rates.
Thin-and-light AI laptops for work and everyday use
Acer’s Swift and Aspire lineups received some of the biggest updates at CES 2026. The Swift AI series spans premium thin-and-light laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, including ultra-light Swift Edge models and the more performance-focused Swift 16 AI. These machines focus on portability, OLED displays, and AI-assisted productivity features rather than raw power alone.
Alongside Intel-powered models, Acer also expanded its AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series offerings with refreshed Swift Go, Aspire AI, and Nitro V laptops. The Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI sit firmly in the mainstream category, offering Copilot+ PC features, optional OLED displays, and flexible designs aimed at students and young professionals. Across both Swift and Aspire families, Acer is clearly trying to make AI features feel standard rather than premium extras.
AI desktops that move beyond traditional office PCs
Acer is not limiting its AI push to laptops. The new Veriton desktop lineup spans compact, all-in-one, and large tower designs, all built around AI-enabled processors. The Veriton RA100 AI Mini Workstation has been introduced as a small but powerful system aimed at prosumers, creators, and developers who want to run local AI workloads without moving to a full-sized workstation.
For businesses, Acer introduced updated Veriton Vero all-in-one desktops built with recycled materials and Intel Core Ultra processors, focusing on security, manageability, and sustainability. The Veriton 2000 Large Tower adds discrete NVIDIA RTX 50 Series GPUs into the mix for AI-assisted content creation, while the Veriton 2000 All-in-One targets SMBs and field teams that need simple, unified computing setups.
