Xiaomi Pad 8 India price leaks ahead of launch: Here’s how much it can cost

Xiaomi is launching its latest device in its tablet lineup, the Xiaomi Pad 8, in India on March 10. While the device has already been launched globally, the Indian launch is much anticipated because there are quite a few upgrades from the predecessor. While we already know much about the specifications, the more interesting thing that everyone is awaiting is the Indian pricing details. Well, it looks like we finally have some good news, as just recently, a reliable tipster has shared the details about the Indian pricing. Without wasting much time, let’s take a look at how much the tablet would cost in the Indian market.

Xiaomi Pad 8: Indian pricing 

As per the reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter), the Xiaomi Pad 8 will arrive in India with multiple RAM and storage variants. He revealed the pricing for all the models, along with the bundles that they could be sold with.  

The base variant that would come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will start at Rs 33,999. The higher 12GB + 256GB variant will come in at Rs 35,999. There is also the topmost variant, which comes with a nanotexture display and the same 12GB + 256GB storage; it will retail at Rs 38,999.

Speaking of the special bundles that would be sold along with the tablet. The tipster revealed that there would be a ‘Creators Edition’ bundle that, as the name suggests, would be targeted towards creators and would include a pen in the box. The standard variant of the creators’ edition will cost Rs 41,999, while the nanotexture edition will come in at a price of Rs 43,999.

There are also bank offers that would be unveiled during the launch, and the tipster suggested that they would be up to Rs 3,000 on top. Further details about this would be revealed once the device is finally launched on March 10. 

Xiaomi Pad 8: Specifications 

Speaking of the specifications, the Xiaomi Pad 8 comes with an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with up to 800 nits peak brightness, along with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. Internally, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform, and it comes in multiple RAM configurations, including 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. 

In terms of battery and charging, the device comes with a big 9,200 mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging. In terms of cameras, the Pad 8 gets a single 13MP camera at the back, with support for 4K video recording. At the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls, which supports 1080p video recording. 

The tablet gets support for a stylus, which is sold separately or in specific bundles. Not only that, but it also comes with support for a keyboard cover as well, which is sold separately. In terms of software, the device runs on the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16.
