X down: Thousands of users unable to access Elon Musk’s social media platform
X down: Elon Musk-owned social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) is currently facing a service disruption in India. Users, on Tuesday evening, started reporting difficulties logging into the platform across both desktop and mobile platforms. According to data from Downdetector, over 2,000 users in India reported problems around 7:43 PM IST. The data showed that 46% of affected users faced issues accessing the web version of the platform, while 41% reported problems with the mobile app. The remaining 13% flagged server connectivity issues. Downdetector’s outage map indicated that the disruption was most prominent in major Indian cities, including Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Indore, Chandigarh, Kolkata, and Mumbai, among others.
