Videocon launches 7-inch ICS-based ‘VT71’ tablet for Rs. 4,799
The VT71 is another budget tablet from Videocon Mobiles. The tablet features 7-inch screen, Ice Cream Sandwich and 1.2Ghz processor.
Videocon Mobiles has introduced a new 7-inch tablet called the Videocon VT71. Priced at Rs. 4,799, the Videocon tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor.
The Videocon VT71 has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It has a front-facing VGA camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and expandable storage up to 32GB via T-Flash card.
For connectivity, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI out port, micro USB Support and 3 G via Dongle. The tablet comes preloaded with Nexgtv, Saavn, Facebook, Nimbuzz, and TOI apps, apart from the Google Play store. The tablet comes with a 3,200mAh battery.
“The announcement of the VT71 is an endeavour to expand the product portfolio of the segment and embark upon a pertinent customer engagement program wherein by affording them the range of tablet devices, we seek to bring about an engaged tablet experience to them,” says Khalid Zamir, Head Product Planning & Development, Videocon Mobile Phone in a release.
Prior to the VT71, Videocon had launched the VT10 tablet. The tablet has 10.1-inch tablet with a 1280×800 resolution. Its other specification are at par with the iberry Auxus CoreX2 3G tablet such as a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB.
