Samsung targets 400 million Galaxy AI users worldwide by the end of 2025

After the launch of the next-generation fan edition device, Samsung has stated that it aims to bring its Galaxy AI experience to 400 million devices all across the globe by the end of this year. The company, which brought the Galaxy AI features with the Galaxy S24 series in 2024, has since expanded the AI ecosystem to different categories across smartphones, wearables, tablets, and PCs.

As per Samsung, over 70 per cent of Galaxy S25 users are actively engaging with Galaxy AI, while the recent Galaxy Z series launch has further boosted adoption with its deep One UI 8 integration. Features like Photo Assist and Audio Eraser have seen particularly strong traction, with photo editing usage nearly doubling compared to the S24 series, as per Samsung. Interpreter and Live Translate, which offer real-time translations during calls and conversations, also remain among the most widely used, the company added.

Thanks to Google’s partnership, Google has also added popular tools like Gemini Live and Circle to Search. The company claims that these features are used daily by over half of S25 users. Speaking of the hardware side, the latest Galaxy S25 lineup and Z Flip 7 features a 50MP main camera while the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Z Fold 7 offer 200MP sensors, enhanced by Samsung’s ProVisual Engine and 8K video support.

The company also stated that the Bengaluru R&D centre, its largest outside South Korea, has played a key role in developing Galaxy AI features such as Photo Assist, Audio Eraser, Interpreter, Live Translate, and Now Brief. Currently, Galaxy AI supports 30 languages and dialects, including Hindi, with further expansion expected.
