Samsung unveils the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) in India, boasts of quad-core processors and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) unveiled in September is now available in India for Rs 49,990. Samsung stated that the tablet will be launched this weekend over online and retail stores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition has a 10.1-inch WQXGA Super clear LCD display with 2560 X 1600 pixels resolution. The tablet comes in two chipset variants, Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition in India is powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core Exynos 5 Octa processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB built-in storage options expandable via microSD card support. The tablet features an 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor and autofocus with an LED flash. It also has a 2MP BSI sensor front camera for video calling. The tablet runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition comes with S Pen stylus. It comes with a number of new features like Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write and S Finder. It packs a large 8220mAh battery and comes pre-loaded with Samsung KNOX for enhanced security. Connectivity wise the tablet supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, AllShareCast and 3G/ LTE. Samsung announced that the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) tablet will be launched in three connectivity options in India: Wi-Fi and 3G, Wi-Fi and LTE and Wi-Fi only. The tablet will come in two colour variants- Jet Black and Classic White.

The Note10.1 comes with Samsung Content Gifts that includes content from leading news sources such as Bloomberg Businessweek, Autodesk Sketchbook for GALAXY for painting and sketching, and much more. It also gives users access to a special “Content Gifts” category in the Samsung Apps store, which includes a six month subscription package to 30 leading Indian Magazines from Magzter & Magna Group.
