Panasonic launches 2026 ACs with DustBuster technology, Matter support in India: Price and availability
Panasonic brings 57 new residential AC models across 3-star to 5-star ratings.
The highlight is the new DustBuster technology to reduce outdoor unit dust build-up.
The starting price is Rs 32,490.
Panasonic has launched its 2026 range of residential air conditioners in India, introducing 57 new models designed for extreme heat, dust and voltage fluctuations. The new line-up focuses on smart connectivity, energy efficiency and long-term durability for Indian households. The key differentiator this year is Panasonic’s new DustBuster technology, which uses an auto reverse-flow fan mechanism to push out accumulated dust from the outdoor unit after operation. In Indian conditions, where dust build-up often reduces cooling efficiency and increases maintenance costs, this could translate into more stable performance over time.

Specifications and features
Panasonic’s 2026 residential AC portfolio includes: 3-star, 4-star and 5-star inverter ACs. The premium 5-star models come with Amaze Facia design in Dark Grey with chrome accents.
The cooling performance is rated to operate at ambient temperatures up to 55°C. It has been tested to perform 100 percent cooling capacity at 48°C. Converti8 technology allows users to adjust cooling capacity from 40 percent to over 100 percent, helping balance power consumption and cooling needs. There is AI-powered Adaptive Thermal Comfort that automatically adjusts temperature, mode and fan speed based on indoor and outdoor conditions.

The company also highlights large air intake, high-performance fan, self-cleaning indoor coil and 4-way swing.
The ACs integrate Panasonic’s MirAIe IoT platform, enabling smart features like:
- Remote control via smartphone
- AI-driven adaptive cooling
- Energy usage tracking
- Custom sleep profiles
- Filter-clean alerts
- Smart diagnosis and warranty management
- One-touch service support
All connected models support Matter, allowing interoperability across smart home platforms. This ensures broader compatibility with third-party ecosystems, which is becoming increasingly relevant as Indian households adopt smart speakers and automation systems.
Panasonic also includes nanoe Active air purification technology in select models. The company claims it helps inhibit pollutants and odours, though performance depends on room size and usage conditions.
From a real-world perspective, features such as stabiliser-free operation and 100 percent copper coils address common Indian usage issues where voltage fluctuations and harsh outdoor conditions are frequent.
