MediaTek has introduced four new automotive chips.

These include MediaTek Dimensity Auto Cockpit CX-1, CY-1, CM-1, and CV-1.

It also includes built-in support for multi-camera HDR ISP, for front-facing, in-cabin, and bird's-eye-view cameras.

MediaTek has gone a step ahead and launched its latest lineup of Dimensity Auto Cockpit chipsets for automotive technology. Simply put, these are AI chips that are powered by Nvidia technology. With these cutting-edge automotive chips, MediaTek promises to enhance the in-car experience like nothing you’ve ever experienced on a regular car.

MediaTek has introduced four new automotive chips, these include MediaTek Dimensity Auto Cockpit CX-1, CY-1, CM-1, and CV-1. It claims that these AI chips are built to deliver powerful AI-driven in-cabin experiences. It will even change the entertainment and safety applications in the vehicles powered by it. It also supports Nvidia DRIVE OS and has deep-learning capabilities. These chips combine ARM v9-A architecture and Nvidia’s next-gen GPU to get advanced AI computing and RTX graphics.

How will MediaTek AI chips enhance the in-car experience?

Since the AI chips incorporate Nvidia RTX GPU, users will also get visual experiences, including ray tracing for realistic visuals and AI upscaling for fast-paced action. Users will also be able to seamlessly stream videos and content across multiple displays. Not only this, they will also get advanced video conferencing features on the go.

It also provides built-in support for multi-camera HDR ISP, for front-facing, in-cabin, and bird’s-eye-view cameras. There’s also an integrated audio DSP that supports popular digital assistants.
