HCL's latest Android tablet is aimed at children as it comes preloaded with a range of 'infotainment content'.
HCL has introduced a new Android tablet under its Me Tab-series. The new tablet, called HCL Me Champ Tab, is available via online retailer Snapdeal.com for Rs. 7,399.

The Me Champ Tab has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 800×480 pixels resolution. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The Me Champ Tab sports a 2MP rear and 0.3MP front camera. It has 4GB built-in storage and supports additional 32GB storage via microSD. In terms of connectivity, the slate supports 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi and USB (it does not support Bluetooth and GPS). The tablet comes with a 3,100 mAh battery.
It’s not the first educational tablet from HCL. Last year, the company had launched the HCL ME Tab U1 at Rs. 7,999. The tablet sports a 7-inch screen, dated ICS OS, 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB built-in storage. The Me Tab U1 is currently available online for Rs. 4999.
