Alphabet has announced strong financial results for the third quarter of 2025, marking a major milestone as the company reported its first-ever quarter with $100 billion in revenue. For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, Alphabet’s total revenue rose 16 percent or 15 percent year over year in constant currency, reaching $102.3 billion. The company said all key business areas, including Google Search & other, YouTube ads, Google subscriptions, platforms and devices, and Google Cloud, recorded double-digit growth.

Google Services generated $87.1 billion in revenue, up by 14 percent from last year. Google Cloud revenues increased by 34 percent to $15.2 billion. This growth was driven by growth in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) across core products, AI infrastructure and generative AI solutions. The company also ended the quarter with $155 billion in Cloud backlog.

Alphabet’s total operating income rose 9 percent and operating margin was 30.5 percent. Excluding a $3.5 billion fine from the European Commission, operating income increased 22 percent, and the margin improved to 33.9 percent, helped by strong revenue growth and better cost management.

Alphabet expects capital expenditures for 2025 to range between $91 billion and $93 billion.
