Google remembers legendary singer/actor Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary with a doodle. The Google doodle on Kishore Da is simple with an image of a smiling Kishore Kumar placed with the letters Google.

The Google doodle shows four symbols in the corners to represent the four elements of multifaceted personality Kishore Kumar. It shows two happy and sad masks denoting acting, a second video camera icon, a third symbol of musical notes and the last symbol of notepad and pen reflects Kishore Kumar as writer. Once you click on the doodle it will take you to Kishore Kumar's search engine page. He is known not only for his talent but also remembered for his fun loving and jolly nature.

Kishore Kumar, was born on August 4, 1929 in Madhya Pradesh, and has been known for his invaluable contribution to the Indian music industry. He made his debut in Bollywood as a singer in the movie Bombay Talkies, which had his brother Ashok Kumar in the lead role. His first film as the lead hero was Andolan (1951) directed by Phani Majumdar.

Kishore Kumar has sung for the all the leading heroes of their times, like Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Govinda and Jackie Shroff. Kishore Kumar won 8 Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer in his lifetime and still holds the record for winning the most Filmfare Awards in that category.

He married four times, his first wife was Ruma Guha Thakurta, his second wife was veteran actress Madhubala, his third wife was Yogeeta Bali, and fourth was Leena Chandavarkar. He passed away in 1987.

Google had celebrated Indian tabla maestro Ustad Allah Rakha's 95th birth anniversary with a doodle in April. The Google Doodle shows Ustad Alla Rakha playing tabla which was represented by the two 'O's of the Google logo.
