From upgraded laptops and tablets to a new affordable iPhone and even a long-rumoured smart home device, Apple is likely gearing up for a busy start to the year. Most of the upcoming products will focus on boosting performance with newer chips, rather than offering completely new designs.

Here’s a quick look at what Apple is reportedly planning to release:

M5 MacBook Pros

According to Bloomberg, Apple is expected to launch upgraded 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros powered by the M5 chips. While MacBook Pro models typically launch in the fall, Apple is now considering an early 2026 release. 

iPhone 17e

Following the trend set by the iPhone 16e, Apple is said to introduce an iPhone 17e early next year. It is expected to come with the A19 chip, offering faster performance. Its design is rumoured to be nearly identical to the iPhone 16e.

New iPads

Apple is reportedly working on updated 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models. These will likely get a performance upgrade by moving from the M3 chip to the M4 chip. An entry-level iPad model is also in the pipeline.

New external monitor

Apple could launch a new external monitor, the company’s first new model since the Studio Display came out three years ago.
