The government has recently announced a FASTag annual pass for daily highway commuters to cut down on the toll tax paid by users. The plan will be rolled out starting on August 15. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has started promoting the scheme via its official website. A new banner has now been made live with the ‘Coming Soon’ tag. Notably, the annual pass priced at Rs 3,000 is valid for either one year of 200 toll crossings, whichever comes first.
