Facebook testing ‘Buy Tickets’ button for Events

If Facebook planning to join the online ticketing business? The speculations regarding Facebook’s next possible major venture were triggered after multiple reports said the site was testing a new “Buy Tickets” feature.
First spotted by All Facebook, the new feature is for all Facebook Event Page owners, who can use it to push ticket sales. The buttons enables users to click through a third-party site to buy tickets.
CNET says Facebook has confirmed the testing of the new button. The site says the Buy Tickets only replaces the previous option – a bit.ly link, which directed users to offisite to the event creators’ selected destination.
