Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 bring health, design, and connectivity improvements.
AirPods Pro 3 launch with H3 chip, heart-rate monitoring, and a slimmer charging case.
Apple is all set for its much-anticipated “Awe-dropping” launch event on September 9, and if the rumours are to be believed, this year could bring some of the most radical product updates in recent memory. As always, the spotlight will be on the iPhone 17 series, specifically on iPhone 17 Air; however, Apple’s wearables, audio products, and home devices are also expected to get significant upgrades.
SurveyFrom the iPhone 17 Air to the next generation of Apple Watch and AirPods, here are the top 5 announcements that Apple may make this week
iPhone 17 series
The iPhone 17 lineup is likely to steal the show. Instead of a Plus variant, the company is tipped to introduce a brand-new iPhone 17 Air, measuring just 5.5mm, which would make it the slimmest iPhone ever. It may ship with a single 48MP rear camera, a compact 2,800mAh battery, and eSIM-only support, powered by the new A19 chip.
Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 17 is also expected to bring a 120Hz ProMotion LTPO display, along with a redesigned front camera and Apple’s A19 processor. The Pro and Pro Max models may get a refreshed aluminium-glass hybrid frame, a redesigned camera bar with an upgraded 48MP telephoto lens, and bigger batteries. These high-end models could also support reverse wireless charging and run on the more advanced A19 Pro chip.
New generation of Apple Watches
Alongside the iPhone, Apple is also preparing to expand its smartwatch portfolio with the Apple Watch Series 11. The upcoming wearable is expected to introduce new health features, including blood pressure monitoring for hypertension alerts and a sleep scoring system. It could also be the first watch to support 5G RedCap connectivity, powered by the new S11 processor.
The rugged Apple Watch Ultra 3 may also get significant upgrades with satellite-based emergency messaging, blood pressure tracking, and a slimmer design with a brighter, anti-reflective display.
For those looking for a budget-friendly option, Apple may also introduce the Watch SE 3 with a design that looks similar to the Series 8 design but in a plastic casing. It will likely be offered in larger 41mm and 45mm display options.

AirPods Pro 3
Apple is reportedly planning to introduce the third-generation AirPods Pro. These devices will likely be powered by the new H3 chip and may introduce health-oriented features, such as in-ear heart rate monitoring. A redesigned, slimmer charging case with a capacitive pairing button is also expected, along with improved Find My integration via a UWB chip.
Apple Home devices
Apple’s smart home ecosystem might also get a refreshed Apple TV 4K with the A18 or A17 Pro chip and Wi-Fi 7 support, and a new HomePod mini with an upgraded S-series processor.
Apple AirTag 2
The AirTag 2 is also reportedly on the line, bringing improved Ultra Wideband connectivity, a longer Precision Finding range, and stronger anti-stalking safeguards.
