Apple services down: App Store, iTunes Store and Mac App Store are facing issues

The affected services include the Apple Store, iTunes Store and Mac App Store.
Other services were also impacted earlier.
Apple services down: Some Apple services are currently experiencing issues. According to Apple’s System Status page, the affected services include the Apple Store, iTunes Store and Mac App Store. The outage began at 5:10 AM and is still ongoing. Here is what Apple’s System Status page reads: “Some users are affected. Users may be unable to make purchases in the iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and App Store.”
SurveyLike every outage, frustrated users head to X (formerly Twitter) to share their experiences. While one user posted, “Apple’s App Store/rental services are down, so I can’t watch yet. what am I supposed to do now?”, another wrote, “Too bad Apple App Store is down.”

While Apple’s System Status page shows an outage, there have been very few reports on Downdetector at the time of writing. This means that the ouatge may not be affecting a large number of users. For the unaware, Down detector is an online outage monitoring platform where people report outages.
At the time of writing, Apple’s System Status page lists the affected services as the Apple Store, iTunes Store and Mac App Store. However, it appears that other services were also impacted earlier and have been restored now. According to 9to5Mac, AppleCare on Device and Subscription Purchase were among the services that were temporarily affected.
Update: Apple’s System Status page now shows that all previously affected services have been restored. If you were unable to use the App Store or complete transactions during the outage, you should now be able to access these services normally,
