Amazon India adds four new categories
Amazon India expands its product offering, adds four new categories including toys & games, personal care appliances, health care devices and baby products – on its website.
Amazon has added four new categories to its product selection in India. The company is now offering baby products, toys & games, personal care appliances, health care devices and will be adding a new home & kitchen category in the coming weeks before Diwali.
The baby products store will offer more than 3,000 products ranging from diapers & nappies, health & baby care, strollers, prams & car seats and will have over 50 popular brands like Pampers, Johnson & Johnson, Huggies, Nuby, Medela, Himalaya, etc.
Amazon India’s toys & games store will offer an online selection of toys in India, and will have over 8500 products from 80 leading brands like Lego, Funskool, Hotwheels, Barbie, V-Tech , etc.
The personal care appliances and health care devices store will have over 1100 products from 60 leading brands like Philips, Panasonic, Omron, Braun, J&J ,and One Touch among others. The product range will include trimmers, hair dryers, shavers and straighteners, blood pressure monitors, and much more.
Customers will also be able to avail cash on delivery, delivery tracking to the doorstep, free returns pickup, and free delivery with no minimum value on all orders Fulfilled by Amazon.
Amit Agarwal, vice-president and country manager, Amazon India stated at the launch of the new categories: “We are excited to launch four new stores today and expand selection on Amazon.in in time for the festive season. We look forward to delighting customers with broad selection, low prices, great convenience, and reliably delivery.”
Amazon started its India operations three months back and offers 11 categories, with 9 million books, 1.7 million eBooks and has more than 70,000 products from hundreds of brands.
