PUBG New State is the newest game from Krafton Inc, the same developers behind Battlegrounds Mobile India. As one might expect, the game is garnering quite a lot of excitement. In India, the game has reportedly already crossed 40 million pre-registrations. Here’s all you need to know about PUBG New State.
PUBG New State: Launch date
While there is no confirmed launch date yet, the game should launch sooner rather than later. The developers have already stated that they will unveil the official launch date in October. There are also reports that the game may launch on October 8.
PUBG New State: Pre-registration rewards
Pre-registration for PUBG: New State is already live for Android and iOS users. Interested fans can head to either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to pre-register the new generation of battle royale. Links for the same are below.
As a bonus for pre-registering, players will be able to get their hands on a permanent ‘Limited Vehicle Skin’
PUBG New State: Setting
PUBG New State is set in the near future, the year 2051 to be precise. This is described as having seen the emergence of various new factions as the world is gripped in anarchy. The game will feature a new map called Troi. This map will be about the same size as Erangel at 8x8km. Additional details about the map are not yet known, but judging by the trailer, it should feature a mix of urban and rural areas.
PUBG New State: Gameplay
PUBG New State looks set to follow the same battle royale formula as the standard version of PUBG Mobile (Battlegrounds Mobile India). It will see 100 players battle it out to be the last player or team standing. There will be a few new changes keeping in mind the futuristic settings of the game. New mechanics include dodging, drone calls and support requests.
PUBG New State: Requirements
PUBG New State is also expected to offer better graphics over the standard PUBG Mobile or Battlegrounds Mobile India. According to the game’s official listing, it will feature “global illumination” technology to “surpass what was previously possible in mobile gaming graphics.”
According to the game’s listing on the Google Play Store, the game will require at least a 64-bit CPU and 2GB of RAM. IT will also need Android Marshmallow 6.0 or higher.
Those planning to play PUBG New State on an iPhone or iPod Touch will require iOS 13.0 or higher. iPad players will require iPadOS 13.0 or higher. The App Store listing also notes that players will need at least 1.2GB of storage space.
