PUBG Mobile servers will not be taken down for the new update. Players have to ensure they update their apps to get Royale Pass season 6 and the new game features.
PUBG Mobile will be receiving a new update on March 20 which will unlock the Ranked Season and bring the new Royale Pass Season 6 to the game. The developers will roll out the update to the game without taking the servers offline. Players need to ensure they have enough space on their phones before installing the update on the Google Play Store and App Store.
With the Royale Pass Season 6 update, PUBG Mobile will be adding Dynamic Weather to Erangel and Miramar. A new G36C rifle will also be added to Vikendi. The rifle can fire 5.56mm rounds and can be equipped with stocks. The new rifle will replace the SCAR-L in Vikendi.
There’s also a new Sanhok-exclusive vehicle available with the new update. The vehicle is called Tukshai and it is a three-wheeled bus which will replace the Jeep, Dacia and Mini Bus.
Other updates to PUBG Mobile include:
- Players can now view RP rankings of the entire region and your friends directly from the Royale Pass page.
- Elite Pass Plus now has additional rewards besides instantly gaining 25 ranks.
- Weekly challenges now award more points. Point rewards can now be collected with just one tap.
- Subscriptions will be available in early April. There are two plans: Prime and Prime Plus. Both come with free daily US, Royale Pass points, daily 80% discount on crates. Benefits from both plans are stackable.
- When players don’t win items above a certain quality many times in a row at the Shop, they will earn vouchers instead. Relevant titles and achievements related to bad luck have also been added.
- Room Card: 1-Use in Clan Shop has been adjusted to 1 purchase every 10 days. Added a robot avatar to the clan system.
As part of the game’s anniversary, the following perks can be enjoyed:
- Birthday parties on Spawn Island where players can light fireworks and collect crates during matches.
- Crates can be opened after the match to get anniversary rewards.
- Players can find randomly spawned birthday cakes in matches for a surprise.
