The wait is finally over! Xbox has finally revealed the exact release date for their much-awaited game, Forza Horizon 6. While the company did not announce the date through its social channels, some fans discovered the release date through other means. Along with the release date, we’ve also received a tonne of new information about the pre-order bonuses, the cars that could be featured in the game and a lot more. Here’s everything you need to know about Forza Horizon 6’s release date, pre-order bonus and other details.

Forza Horizon 6: Release date
First shared by Xbox Infinite via X, the user says that he got a pop-up for the release date while playing Forza Horizon 5. As per the image shared by him, the game comes out on 19 May, while the early access period will start 4 days prior, on 15 May.
Some users did point out that the image could be fan-made or AI-generated, but the user later shared proof of the screenshot from the Xbox app. As for how this pop-up appeared, the user explained that it appeared as soon as he left the garage, and just as he started taking delivery of a car.
Forza Horizon 6: Pre-Order bonus and other details
As per the pop-up, Forza Horizon 6 will include over 550 cars. This is a slight decrease from the previous Horizon titles, given that Horizon 5 includes over 900 cars. However, chances are the cars this time around will be much more detailed, and hence they’ve reduced the number.
For buyers who pre-order the regular edition of the game, they’ll be getting a Forza Horizon 6 special Ferrari J50. Along with the pre-order bonus, the pop-up also revealed the information about the benefits that premium edition users will be able to get. These include:
- Early Access – Play 4 days early, starting 15 May
- VIP Membership
- Welcome Pack
- Car Pass
- Time Attack Car Pack
- Italian Passion Car Pack (coming post-launch)
- 2 Premium Expansions (coming post-launch)
While this information about the release date is yet to be confirmed by Xbox itself, chances are they’ll be doing it pretty soon. They’ve already announced the Developer Direct, which is set for 22 January. During that event, they’ll be showcasing the gameplay for Forza Horizon 6, along with other titles like Fable and Beasts of Reincarnation.
