This is the latest incident in a long line of tragic deaths that have been linked to the popular mobile game. Earlier this year, it was reported that a 25-year-old man in Maharashtra succumbed to a stroke after getting over excited when playing PUBG Mobile. The doctor in charge of the autopsy said, “It seems the stroke occurred because the victim was over-excited while playing online game PUBG. The post-mortem report has stated intra cerebral bleeding with brain tissue necrosis as the cause of death”.

Apparently death isn’t the only consequence of PUBG Mobile. A few months ago. A 17-year-old allegedly spent Rs 16 Lakh in-app purchases on PUBG Mobile. The boy reportedly spent on purchasing virtual credits to get in-app items, including weapon skins, exclusive passes for tournaments, and virtual credits over a month's duration.
