The teaser comes after the fans demanded Season 2 following the massive success of Kohrra Season 1. Taking to X, Netflix stated, “Kohrra laut raha hai, ek naye case aur ek nayi mystery ke sath. Kohrra S2 starring Barun Sobti, Mona Singh is coming soon, only on Netflix.”
This season features Mona Singh, known for her versatile roles in shows like Kaala Paani, and the return of Barun Sobti, celebrated for his portrayal of Garundi, a young police officer. The web series is directed by Sudip Sharma and Faisal Rahman and is written by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia, and Sudip Sharma. It is produced by Film Squad Productions along with Act Three Productions.
The makers have not announced an official release date for fans. According to the teaser shared by Netflix, the web series will premiere soon. The release date for Kohrra Season 2 is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Kohrra Season 2 plot
A separated woman was found dead in her brother’s house in a startling murder case that opens the story. Garundi, a recently transferred investigator, and his tough-as-nails supervisor, Dhanwant Kaur, are brought in for the case investigation.
Cops learn more about the case’s complexities as the investigation progresses, and the narrative also sheds some light on their personal lives, which gives their investigation an unexpected emotional depth and a historical perspective.
