Daaku Maharaaj OTT release: Will Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela starrer action drama hit Netflix soon?

It follows the story of a philanthropist who discovers an illegal wildlife trade on his tea estate.
Daaku Maharaaj was released in theatres a few weeks back, alongside movies such as Pushpa 2, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, and Game Changer. It was able to collect over Rs 90 crore at the box office and after a decent run, it is gearing up for its OTT release. If reports are to be believed, Daaku Maharaaj can soon roll out on Netflix. It was earlier expected to drop on February 9, but it has missed that date.
Initially, the film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, while the Hindi version is expected to drop later. However, an official confirmation from Netflix or the makers is still awaited about the release date and languages.
SurveyBox office performance
The film has been declared the highest-grossing movie in Balakrishna’s career, with record-breaking earnings.
As per Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 90.39 crore over 26 days. It had a strong opening with Rs 25.35 crore, followed by Rs 66.4 crore in the first week, Rs 17.05 crore in the second, and Rs 5.38 crore in the third.
Daaku Maharaaj plot and cast
Daaku Maharaj has been directed by Bobby Kohli. It follows the story of a philanthropist who discovers an illegal wildlife trade on his tea estate. Facing threats from a powerful MLA and his brother, he finds an unlikely ally in the dacoit leader Daaku Maharaaj. The film also includes a gripping flashback, revealing how Sitaram transforms from an engineer to a feared dacoit after witnessing the atrocities of the Thakur brothers.
Apart from Nandamuri Balakrishna, it also features Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Urvashi Rautela, and Shraddha Srinath.
