As part of the limited-time deal, new eligible premium users can get their first two months at the same Rs 69 rate. Similar to the Standard plan, the Student tier also offers ad-free listening and high-quality audio streaming at up to 320 kbps.
Meanwhile, Spotify’s top-tier Premium Platinum subscription remains unchanged in terms of both pricing and features.

The move appears to be aimed at simplifying its subscription lineup in India and giving the best value to its users. We have asked for an official statement from Spotify and will update the story with it once we have it.
