Mango Man Consumer Electronics has launched Teewe 2 HDMI media streaming dongle at Rs 2,399. Pre-orders for Teewe 2 are open on www.teewe.in and the device will be exclusively available on www.amazon.in, starting May 25th, 2015.
Teewe 2 can be used to stream videos, music and photos from the smartphone, PC or tablet to the big screen. The dongle comes with an HDMI port that connects directly to any TV/projector. According to the company the device is very compact and is 30 percent smaller in size than its predecessor. It is powered by a 1.6+ GHz dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor and a quad core GPU with 1 GB of DDR 3 RAM. It has an improved Wi-Fi chip lets the unit stream content without any lag or stutter.
Mango Man has announced a partnership with ErosNow, which gives Teewe users an additional 2 months of free ErosNow premium subscription. The company has also announced a partnership with Airtel Broadband where customers will be provided 20 GB per month of free data for 3 consecutive months, a combined data package of 60 GB. Customers pre-ordering Teewe 2 now will get an extended year’s warranty on the device along with the data services. Sai Srinivas, CEO, Teewe stated, “We are very excited to launch the next version of Teewe with upgraded hardware for a better overall experience. Through this device, the customer can take advantage of the largest screen in the house to display and share his/her personalized content, be it from the internet or from his/her device.
