Asus has announced the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, the world’s first 8K HDR Mini LED monitor. The monitor features high peak brightness, deep contrast, and is designed for professional creators, colourists, and post-production studios who need pro-grade colour accuracy. The PA32KCX comes with a built-in motorised colourimeter, wide HDR format support, and advanced connectivity options, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Here are the complete details:
SurveyPrice and availability

In select regions, buyers can get 3 months of free Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, Adobe Substance 3D, and Adobe Acrobat subscription (worth up to $397.44 or close to Rs 35,000), redeemable until 31 August 2026.

Specifications and features
The 32-inch ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX features a 7680×4320 IPS panel with Mini LED backlighting, delivering 4032 local dimming zones for precise control over light and shadow. It offers 1200 nits peak brightness and maintains a 1000-nit full-screen sustained brightness, which should be ideal for mastering HDR content.
The monitor supports 95% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec.709 gamuts, paired with true 10-bit colour depth and Delta E<1 calibration accuracy. Each unit is factory-calibrated using a three-scale process to ensure consistent tone mapping and grayscale uniformity.
For calibration, the company has given a built-in motorised flip colourimeter for automatic or scheduled self-calibration, even without external software. Users can also employ ASUS ProArt Calibration, Calman, or Light Illusion ColourSpace software for professional-grade control. The ProArt Colour Centre further enables remote calibration management across multiple monitors.
Asus has also equipped the device with connectivity options like two Thunderbolt 4 ports (one with 96W power delivery), two HDMI 2.1 ports, and DisplayPort 2.1. You can daisy-chain multi-display setups. The monitor’s Auto KVM feature lets users switch between two connected systems using a single keyboard and mouse. This could simplify professional workflows.

Additional features include an ambient light sensor, proximity detection, PiP and PbP modes, and ergonomic adjustments (tilt, swivel, pivot, height). A detachable shading hood is included for reduced glare in studio environments.
While these advanced specs may be overkill for casual editors or general users, the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX is targeted at professional-grade users. It may be priced as such. The built-in motorised colourimeter and Auto KVM integration make it an all-in-one production tool requiring minimal external calibration hardware. While these two are features found in the recent BenQ PD2770U 27-inch monitor, the Asus model has a slightly larger screen that offers higher resolution, too.
It is also a Mini-LED panel with 4032 zones, which could significantly reduce blooming and enhance contrast for professional works. For early buyers, the free Adobe Creative Cloud bundle could mean it is ready to deploy.
