If you are a frequent online shopper, we have good news for you. Flipkart has now introduced a new benefit for its Plus members in India. This new offer gives users access to a free Netflix Mobile subscription every month. But the streaming perk is not available by default for everyone. Customers will have to meet a monthly shopping requirement before they can claim this benefit. If you are wondering what the eligibility criteria are and how you can get it, read along.

As per the Flipkart terms and conditions, the Plus members will have to complete four successful orders in a calendar month to qualify for the offer. Every order must be worth at least Rs 299 and purchases made via Flipkart, Flipkart Grocery and Flipkart Minutes will all count towards the eligibility criteria. Orders that are cancelled or returned will not be considered.

Once the fourth qualifying order is completed, eligible users can get a one-month Netflix Mobile subscription through the Plus section available under the “My Account” tab in the Flipkart app. The same shopping milestone must be achieved every month to continue receiving the benefit.
The offer is expected to appeal more to customers who already shop regularly via Flipkart rather than users making purchases solely to unlock the streaming subscription.
What will this Netflix subscription offer
This complimentary plan is the Netflix Mobile tier. It offers streaming on one smartphone or tablet at a time in standard-definition quality. Unlike Netflix’s higher-priced plans, it does not include support for TVs or laptops, Full HD or Ultra HD playback, or simultaneous streaming across multiple devices.
Flipkart has not yet announced a timeline for when the Netflix benefit will become available to all eligible Plus members across India. The company is expected to share more details as the rollout expands.
How to get a free Netflix subscription via Flipkart
Follow these steps if you have met the above-mentioned eligibility criteria.
- Go to the Flipkart app on your phone
- Go to the Account tab from the bottom navigation bar
- Select the Plus Page or Flipkart Plus section at the top.
- Look for the Netflix Benefit Banner and tap Claim Now. You will be redirected to the Netflix activation page.
- Enter your existing Netflix email ID/phone number to log in, or sign up for a new account, and verify the subscription via the OTP sent to your device
