Netflix announces 2 new games for its platform
HIGHLIGHTS

Netflix Games were launched in November 2021.

Two new games have just been announced.

These games can be played starting today.

Back in November 2021, American streaming, video-on-demand service, Netflix had launched its own gaming services at no extra charge to already subscribed members. At its start it was launched in 190 countries. The cost that one needs to play the games included no in-app purchase or advertisements or any hidden costs.

Now, Netflix has announced two new games that it is adding to the already vast list of games that one can play in-app. These games are Kentucky Route Zero and Twelve Minutes, both of which are now available on Android as well as iOS.

Kentucky Route Zero

This game which was published by Annapurna Interactive is a point-and-click adventure game. The focus of the game is story-telling and atmosphere which goes beyond the traditional challenges or puzzles.

The player has the ability to control Conway, an in-game character’s dialogues, guide him to another location and so on.

The plot of the game is basically that Conway is a truck driver, who works as a delivery man for an antique shop. Throughout the story he looks for a certain address with his dog, whose name is also chosen by the player. There are separate locations in the game and COnway has to travel to various locations based on what he chooses. After a lot of searching he declares he is lost and stops at a gas station and the game continues from there.

Twelve Minutes

This is again an adventure game published by Annapurna Interactive. It is a decision-driven game that involves time loops. THe order of the events is different and totally depends on how the game is being played. The whole game is set in an apartment suite where a husband and wife live together. The house has a living area, a kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom and a closet.
