The landscape mode was supposed to be a major feature when the support for videos was launched. But, the feature could not flip the videos recorded in the landscape mode. Instagram, later, acknowledged the problem and promised to fix it soon.

The update also brings support for Cinema stabilisation using front-facing cameras. Cinema is one of the important features of Instagram that allows users to stabilize the video captured with the iPhone, even with shaky hands.

Instagram recently added support for recording 15 seconds of video clips which could be shared with friends on the network. The Instagram video also comes with the filter feature to the videos. Instagram with Video gets 13 new custom filters that can be applied on the 3-second-minimum videos.

The new video support feature makes Instagram a direct rival to Twitter’s Vine, a similar short-video sharing network. After Instagram parted ways with Twitter, the micro-blogging website came up with Vine, which allows users to record and share 6-second videos. Vine for Android recently surpassed Instagram to become top social application on Google’s Play store.
