IFB TL701MG1
Price: Rs 18990
The IFB TL701MG1 has a 7 kg capacity with a maximum spin speed of 720 RPM. This speed determines how much water is extracted from clothes during a spin cycle. So, the faster RPM means it dries the cloth quicker, but fabric quality shouldn’t be impacted.
IFB has included Aqua Energie, which is a built-in treatment for hard water, making it softer so that detergent lather and rinse more effectively. There is also the ActivMix system that uses AI to detect the weight of the load and type of fabric, then pre-dissolves detergent in water so that there is no uneven washing or damage to delicate fabrics.
The IFB washing machine comes with a rat mesh on the body, a digital display shows the remaining cycle time, and a hydraulic-based lid closing mechanism.
As for warranty, you will get a 4-year comprehensive warranty on the product, a 10-year warranty on the motor, and a stated 10-year commitment to spare parts availability.

Whirlpool Magic Clean ELT 8.0 Grey 10YMW
Price: Rs 18490

The washing machine has a spin speed of 740 RPM, comes with Hard Water Wash technology, and even a Dry Tap Sensing, which stops the machine if, for some reason, it detects the absence of water flow into the machine. This helps the machine not run unnecessarily, heat up or fail prematurely.
The machine offers 12 wash programs, a 3-button control panel, and warranty of 2-years comprehensively on the product and a 5-year motor warranty.

Haier HWM70-AE
Price: Rs 15,590
The Haier HWM70-AE is a 7 kg machine that stands out in this group for having the highest spin speed at 780 RPM.
Its inner drum uses something called Oceanus Wave technology, where the drum surface is shaped in a wave pattern. At high speed spins, clothes can be pressed hard against the drum perforations, causing thread pulls and micro-tears over many cycles. The wave geometry is intended to reduce direct fabric-to-drum contact.
Haier has also included a Bionic Magic Filter, which captures lint, loose threads, and fine particles from the wash water. So, they dont attach to the clothes again.
The outer body is made from PCM, or pre-coated metal, which provides corrosion resistance.
The energy consumption is the lowest in this group at 0.0093 kWh per kilogram per cycle, and water consumption is stated at 17.26 litres per kilogram per cycle. Controls are button based and not a digital interface. You get a warranty of 2 years comprehensive on the product and 10 years on the motor.
Voltas Beko WTL70
Price: Rs 15,390
The Voltas Beko WTL70 is a 7 kg machine with a spin speed of 700 RPM. It sports Monsoon Dry technology that optimises the spin cycle to remove moisture. The brand claims a 17% improvement in drying performance.
The machine also has a water reuse feature that lets users retain the rinse water from a completed cycle. Rinse water is relatively clean and can be used again for another load or for other cleaning tasks around the house. This can be helpful in areas with water shortage.
It has 10 wash programs. It has a plastic body and stainless steel drum. The control panel has IPX4 rating which means it can take water splashes.
The warranty is 3 years comprehensive on the product and 12 years on the motor. The 12-year motor warranty is the longest among all machines evaluated here.
Godrej WTEON ALP 70 5.0 FDUN GPGR
Price: Rs 15,389
The Godrej WTEON ALP 70 is a 7 kg washing machine. Godrej has armed the machine with Zero Pressure Technology that uses specialised valves to operate at low pressure water supply. The manufacturer states this allows the tub to fill up to 60% faster than standard models under similarly low-pressure conditions.
The machine features Turbo 6 Pulsator that generates multi-directional water movement, which along with the Acu Wash Drum is said to wash fabric thoroughly without heavy abrasion for the fabric.
The machine has an auto-balance system that senses uneven load distribution during the spin cycle and makes adjustments to prevent excessive vibration.
Other features included in the mix are an anti-rust cabinet, a soft-close lid, a rodent mesh, a metallic chrome handle, and an LED interface with 12 wash programs. The motor is rated at 425 watts. The warranty is 2 years comprehensive on the product and 10 years on the motor.
