Winter pollution spikes continue across several Indian cities, so you must be looking for affordable purifiers that can handle bedrooms, offices, or small living rooms without pushing past the Rs 10,000 budget. India’s Black Friday sale, on 28 November, is bringing modest discounts on popular air purifiers, although many models are not at their lowest prices. Still, these remain the most searched and highly rated options currently available online. While we recently did a listicle of top air purifiers across price ranges, here, in particular, we are focusing on sub-Rs 10K options. We have ranked the following purifiers by coverage area, and listed their CADR, filter type, noise levels, power consumption, and current prices for readers comparing options quickly.

Honeywell Air Touch V2
- Price: Rs 8,397
- Coverage area: 388 sq. ft.
- CADR: 250 m³/h
- Filter type: 4-stage, sponge pre-filter, H13 HEPA, silver-ion anti-H1N1 layer, activated carbon
- Noise level: 32.5 dB (low), about 47.5 dB (high)
- Power: 47 W
Honeywell’s V2 is one of the highest-rated options in the segment. The CADR is strong for the price, and the silver-ion filter is marketed to reduce bacteria exposure. It should be suited well for medium-sized rooms and offer predictable performance and easy filter availability, which matters for long-term use.
Acerpure Cool AC530
- Price: Rs 9,999
- Coverage area: 363 sq. ft.
- CADR: Not officially listed for AC530. The similar Acerpure C2 is rated at 307 m³/h.
- Filter type: 3-in-1, pre-filter, HEPA 13 main filter with Ag+ silver coating, activated carbon
- Noise level: 25 dB to 56 dB
- Power: 27 W
The AC530’s HEPA 13 filter and silver-ion layer help with dust and microbial particles, and the wide coverage makes it suitable for medium bedrooms or workspaces. The unclear CADR rating is the only drawback, but performance should be similar to the C2 model. It also comes with a circulation fan that is said to reach a distance of up to 16 meters. You can set it to swing up and down by about 90° and the left-to-right oscillation by about 80°.

- Filter type: 4-stage, pre-filter, H13 True HEPA, activated carbon, ioniser

This model balances good CADR with a four-stage filter system and an ioniser. An ioniser releases charged particles to capture pollutants, but some models generate ozone. We couldn’t find any mention of whether this model is ozone-free. You can pick it for bedrooms and study rooms. The brand positions it as a quieter alternative to bulkier machines, but the lack of precise noise figures may matter to sensitive users.

What you should keep in mind
Buying an air purifier under Rs 10,000 is mostly about matching the room size with an adequate CADR and making sure the filter type is clear and replaceable at a reasonable cost. Larger rooms need at least 250 m³/h. Small bedrooms or personal spaces can work with 100 to 200 m³/h.
Noise is another factor for night-time use, and most models here stay under 50 dB at full power. Power draw is also low across the segment, making continuous use feasible.
