Resident Evil Requiem

Capcom delivered its biggest look yet at Resident Evil Requiem. The new trailer balances Grace Ashcroft’s tense, close-quarters horror with a surprise return from fan favourite Leon Kennedy. It is clear that the game is aiming for a dual narrative, one steeped in survival terror and the other leaning into some classic RE action.

007: First Light

The new 007 First Light trailer finally gave us a closer look at its larger than life villain, Bawma, the Western Hemisphere’s most powerful black market dealer. He is charismatic, unpredictable and played by none other than Lenny Kravitz, who brings a slick, dangerous energy to the role. The trailer sets up a story of a man who rose from nothing, built his own kingdom and is now firmly in Bond’s crosshairs. 007 First Light arrives next year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.

Street Fighter movie

The Game Awards 2025 also delivered an unexpected Hollywood moment with the world premiere of the Street Fighter movie trailer. The reveal was packed with iconic special moves lifted straight from Capcom’s legendary fighting games. Guile’s flash kick, Zangief’s spinning grab and even Ryu’s classic back throw all made an appearance, brought to life with surprising accuracy. The movie hits theatres on October 16, 2026.

Control: Resonant

Remedy pulled back the curtain on Control Resonant, a follow up to 2019’s critically acclaimed Control. Instead of Jesse Faden, the spotlight now shifts to her brother, Dylan, who is sent into a New York consumed by the Hiss. With eerie visuals and that signature Remedy atmosphere, Resonant looks unsettling in all the right ways.

Marvel Rivals

Deadpool has finally entered the arena and this can only mean one thing – chaos in the best way possible. Marvel Rivals’ new trailer confirmed him as a playable character, complete with chaotic gunplay, teleport tricks and fourth-wall jokes. The humour might divide fans, but there is no denying that Deadpool adds a wild new layer to the hero shooter’s roster.

Pragmata

After years of silence and multiple delays, Capcom’s sci fi adventure Pragmata finally has a confirmed release date. The new trailer locks it in for April 24, 2026, and gives another look at its blend of third person shooting and puzzle driven exploration. The biggest surprise was the platform update. Pragmata is no longer a console exclusive experience and will also launch on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. Capcom says a playable demo is coming soon, so players will finally get hands-on time with the game.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve

The beloved air combat series finally returns with Ace Combat 8. The trailer introduced a rescued pilot thrust into a rising conflict and gave us a first look at sweeping dogfights above Strangereal’s troubled skies. High-speed, high-drama and undeniably Ace Combat.

Tomb Raider: Catalyst and Legacy of Atlantis

Lara Croft came back in a double reveal. Catalyst offers a reimagined Lara in a new story arriving in 2027, while Legacy of Atlantis revisits her classic 1996 adventure in a modern remake. Both trailers struck different notes but made one thing clear: Lara is officially back.

Highguard

Respawn surprised everyone with Highguard, its secret project blending medieval armour with gunplay. The trailer showed knights with rifles clashing in frantic multiplayer battles. Best of all, it launches in January 2026.

Star Wars: Fate of the Republic

Lucasfilm Games delivered a mood-heavy trailer for Fate of the Republic. Not much gameplay yet, but the music, environments and Jedi imagery set the tone for something grand, emotional and full of galaxy-shaping stakes.
